Mulig: the result & another smart solution

A few days ago I told you about my mod of the Mulig clothing rack. This is how it looks right now:

Eventhough I have lots of closet space with this trick I still needed more room. I once read about a simple solution: using tabs of cans. So you use less space to storage clothes.

I actually do have a new problem. I’m running out of hangers, haha! :p

Mulig

I have a serious problem when it comes to closet space, so I came up with the idea to combine two items from the IKEA Mulig series. The initial plan was to combine two clothing racks and make one large double rack of it, but my ceiling wasn’t high enough and it became just too unstable anyways. So plan B was to use my dressboy instead. It’s really simple as you can see in the picture. I took the small bars and put them between the parts of the clothing rack so the lower bar can now be used for things like skirts and shorts!

Not so long ago I showed pictures of my renewed ‘walk in’. It was nice, but my living space became a bit too small. So I moved all my stuff again. This is the result:

I’m quite proud on it. It looks like a little shop, haha!

New love

I was always convinced I couldn’t really love flower wallpaper. Seems that I was wrong! I’ve been spending some time on the internet trying to get some inspiration for my closet space. I don’t think I will change things again anytime soon, but it’s nice to dream and fantasize of a bigger better walk in, right?

Closet edition

I finally took some pictures of the walk-in part of my room. Maybe I will change some small details, but I’m very satisfied with how it looks already.

Beware of this clothes and shoes overload!

I don’t have a really large studio, though the fact it was possible to ‘build’ a walk-in closet in it makes me say it is big enough for me at the moment. <3

Christmas spirit

Do you already have a decorated christmas tree at your home?

Well, I don’t, but I found some inspiration I’d like to share with you all. During the cold months I stay most of my time inside. So at the moment I’m busy making my home feel more homey and all. ^^

The midheel

Bought some new things yesterday!

For a long time I didn’t bought midheels. Only sky high or flat shoes. I really like the boots though and it’s nice to have the comfort of flats combined with the elegance of heels. Yes, last money well spend.

Since I have this week off and don’t have any big plans I figured it’s a good time to clean up the place. I’m done with my kitchen. Look how cute:

I will take more pictures with daylight. So this is just a little teaser.

Btw, I found this picture on FB, also from the b-day I blogged about yesterday. Not sure who took it, but I think he/she won’t mind me sharing it on VanityMirrorNL. ^^

A new closet

Since my double clothing rack died a few hours ago (Do I sound too dramatic?) I have to find a new place for my precious clothing. I found some inspiration I want to share with you.

Sorry for the large size of the image.

I don’t really have money at the moment, so I’m trying to convince my parents to help me out a little on this one. I’ll keep you updated about this, but don’t expect something like shown above, haha!

Outfit & homey stuff

Here is a more casual look. The outfit has some nice details like the stiches at the knees and the beads at the shoulders of my blazer.

Blazer: Asos, jeans: Royal Chicks, tee: LADY GAGA merchandise, shoes: UggAustralia.

I found these things on the internet. They’re all quite affordable, accept for the blue vase with the head on it. That one is a bit expensive, but nevertheless: super nice!

I’m thinking about making a new category, ‘home’. Then I could show you some inspiring images and more cool stuff.
